The Launch of Osmosis DIY Blanks!

As you might know already, I have always enjoyed hands-on crafting, especially when it comes to sewing and embroidery. I am now sharing the love by introducing the first of a new range of DIY stitch jewellery blanks.
Firstly there are the felt pendant blanks. In a range of colours & 2 sizes in a pack, each is cut from thick wool felt and has a jump ring attached to the decorative border for an instant but plain looking pendant. The idea is that you stitch on buttons or beads, embroider a simple design or simply pin on a favourite brooch to give it a new lease of life. A unique pendant every time!
Then come the cross stitch blanks, available as a kit with pattern ideas, threads, needle & findings & or as individual pieces if you already have the rest... Pre-cut holes allow for perfect stitches and the options for designs are endless. There are round & oval options, each in 2 sizes. These come in either felt, black acrylic or bamboo- each giving a totally different feel to the stitching.

Both of these will be for sale at next weeks Perth Upmarket - Sunday 28th Nov at Winthrop Hall, UWA, Stirling Highway, Nedlands. My stall is downstairs in the corner near Eucalyptus Homewares. In the new year, they will be available online... watch this space!

I've even started a flickr page here so that purchasers can share what they have been creating on the blanks and I'll post some design ideas & patterns.

Don't forget to also 'like' my facebook page too!
